SENIOR BOOMER EXPO CELEBRATES 'HEALTHY AGING'
Senior Boomer Expo, Middle Tennessee's biggest event for the 50 plus generation is set for Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. Doors are open from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Making a return appearance at Senior Boomer Expo will be baseball legend Willie Mays, a spokesperson for HealthSpring, Inc., a Medicare Advantage Plan. At 76 years old, Mays, a Baseball Hall of Famer, is a perfect example of why living a healthier lifestyle is important for everyone.
The theme for the 2007 Senior Boomer Expo is "Healthy Aging." During the one-day festival, seniors and boomers can participate in demonstrations and booths featuring area experts on the following topics and more:
In addition to these programs, guests will also experience a wide variety of vendors, exhibits, giveaways and the popular "The Young at Heart" fashion show. Senior Boomer Expo will also offer fabulous door-prize drawings and some of the area's best entertainment, featuring performers who are seniors and boomers themselves.
Tickets to the event are $5.00 each. Complimentary box lunches are available while supplies last. Senior Boomer Expo is produced by the Greater Nashville Region Council Area Agency on Aging and Disability, and the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville.
